What is a Pen Party?

A Pen Party is the perfect blend of fun and creativity to enjoy spending time with friends and family. A Pen party can easily be adapted to any event or celebration, including hen parties, baby showers & team building!

With expert instruction, top-notch materials, and a laid-back atmosphere, all of your guests will enjoy an engaging experience, leaving you with cherished memories and newfound calligraphy skills.

Warning: We cannot guarantee that you won't leave without a newfound passion for calligraphy.

A wonderful selection of activities, all equipment and expert tuition.

A pen party can be held in any venue with suitable space to write from around your dining table to a hotel function room.

Location

Anyone! For those of you who haven't held a dip pen before we'll show you how. For those who have, we'll show you some new and interesting skills to extend your knowledge.

Suitable for

Groups of upto 4: £240 minimum charge
Groups of 5 to 9:  £50 per person
Groups of 10 to 15:  £40 per person

Pricing

Prices are inclusive of travel if the party is held within 20 miles of MK44. Otherwise, a 45p/mile surcharge is added.

Organising your party

  • Initial Contact

    Let us know you're interested in hosting a party by filling out our simple online form or contacting us directly. If possible let us know your preferred workshop date, time, and any specific requirements.

  • Free Consultation

    A meeting is held at a time convinient to you to discuss your needs, preferred dates, and party options. This can be in person, via telephone or zoom/teams.

  • Secure your date

    We'll send you you our booking agreement for your to review outlining the party details including pricing and participant capacity. Once you are happy and have paid the deposit we will confirm your booking.

  • Final check in

    We'll contact you approximately 2 weeks before the party to confirm final participant numbers and any additional requirements you may have.

  • On the Day

    I arrive with all the neccessary resources at your venue at least 30 minutes before the agreed start time. I deliver an engaging party where you will have fun learning a new skill.

  • Post party

    I clean up, and collect any feedback. We stay in touch until our next party.

  • Great question! For a pointed pen party, we typically recommend a well-lit room with a table with enough space for each person - we recommend allowing an A3 space per person.

    While calligraphy uses ink, it's a controlled art form and we provide high-quality materials that minimize mess. We'll also offer tips and cleaning supplies to ensure your space stays neat throughout the party.
